After we exposed Target for using kids mannequins to sell “pride” merch & other sexualized items a whistleblower sent us this internal Target guidance ordering the REMOVAL of kids mannequins, groomer/satanic swag & DISMANTLING the Pride display in children’s section. Big W.

@AdamWilday When will they realize our children are non negotiable? Dance, prance, insert, whatever, but stay away from our kids.

@kittenhawk1 I wonder if Target stock holders can sue the company for their woke marketing campaigns that have caused devastating losses to their stock prices? Huge losses in just 10 days. 🤔 They removed the displays from the area next to children’s section pretty fast.

The people who hired the satanic designer for kids should be gone, all the way up that ladder. It’d be interesting to see how far that finger points…

Never going back. Target values their ESG rating more than their customers.

Amen!! My local Target in West Los Angeles has NO Pride display or merchandise at all. I was shocked because LA is so liberal. So glad our “wallet” vote changes things.

It’s in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district — near the intersection of the city’s two most iconic commercial roads, Market Street and Montgomery Street, 100 feet away from a major downtown BART station, nestled in amongst the skyscrapers: a three story atrium mall called Crocker Galleria. The empty escalators still hum on in this cavernous shell, but the stores that used to inhabit this mall all shut down and are long gone. Only three businesses remain and they are hanging on by a thread. The vacant stores are covered over with sayings of optimism: “it’s all about patience, water and sun.” “So fresh and so green, green” “leaf a great impression” “we are branching out” “you’ll soon be listening to the birds” The signs on the vacant stores read “people love us on yelp” Gourmet Burritos? Gone. Green Olive Mediterranean Cuisine? Gone. Jimmy John’s sandwiches? Gone. Niji Japanese sushi? Gone. Braised and Bread Cambodian Flavors? Gone. Fountain Cafe (they used to make a GREAT breakfast sandwich)? Gone. Giorgio’s Pizza? Gone. Permanently Closed. The weekly farmers market? Gone. The door going out to the old public space rooftop gardens above the old (now abandoned Wells Fargo) locked and closed. VIP luggage and leather? Gone. Ravit’s watches and jewelry? Gone. It’s a Wednesday in the middle of the week. Where did everybody go? All of these were real businesses in San Francisco. Look them up on the internet and you’ll see them. People blame Amazon and the pandemic, but the Valley Fair Mall and Santana Row are packed to the gills down in San Jose. They got an Eately even, but we don’t. I used to come to this mall for pizza back in the early 90s with my boss and mentor, fresh out of college and excited to be working in finance — we’d share lunch at the giant food court. Those were the days San Francisco, those were the days. You can see more photos of this abandoned mall here:
