@CoachDanLanning QBs at fault. That’s it. Stop sliding. Dumbest play in sports.

@CoachDanLanning He was a runner not a qb, he isn't protected as a runner. @CoachDanLanning you know this, you are a head coach.

@barstoolsports @CoachDanLanning No longer a protected qb past the line of scrimmage, change the rule. You are simply a ball carrier

@CoachDanLanning We know you don’t play defensive back Portnoy….

@TBob53 @CoachDanLanning No longer a QB when you’re past the line of scrimmage. Stop sliding and protect yourself.

@CoachDanLanning Dont slide

@barstoolsports @CoachDanLanning In an instant New rule quarterback cannot run Passed the line of scrimmage Unless in wishbone formation @uscfb

@barstoolsports @CoachDanLanning Why can’t qb’s protect themselves? Lower the shoulder like a man or don’t run?

@barstoolsports @CoachDanLanning Only the reaction from the player was ridiculous the hit is on the QB

@Eugene646 @CoachDanLanning If you slow it down and look at the point of impact, it supports a very late slide. First down was the priority, then the slide. The video appears he’s close to the ground at impact, but he’s not. The post-celebratory behavior was sickening, but the slide is way late.
