It's interesting how all these other countries, like India, Canada, EU countries, China, have for decades imposed Tariffs on US...and none of them have sunk into a great depression...

I see you're forgetting everything else that happened, like FDR's numerous schemes to try and control food prices that were deemed unconstitutional until FDR threatened to stuff the supreme court, leading to them capitulating in 'the stitch in time to save the nine'. Spoilers. His stuff ended up being the things that prolonged the great depression and ended up in agencies that could confiscate massive amounts of a farmer's crops without compensation, some of which lasted until the 2010s.
