Task Manger TMOG supports block view for disk space analysis... it's not quite watching defrag, but it's close, and the music syncs nicely!

Task "Manger", whoops :-)

Omg brings back O&O defrag memories. waiting for hours, but was cool

Windows Dave!!! When is it coming

easter egg idea, add a defrag button for old times sake :)

Please include the info for estimated reads and writes remaining on each SSD ;)

Any chance of adding SMART monitoring or even just a number of hours used counter?

Watching windows disk defrag was the visual ASMR of that XP age. Now we have TMOG. 🫡😁

Get the Beta2 release now at

Manger? Does it cradle tasks in cribs, surrounded by cattle?

Will the windows version be available for beta soon?

Good times!

Oh man... this is special. Pro only?

hop disk read and write don't follow audio beat

Can you do it for bitcoin blocks?

Nice!

There was a feature on DOS 3.30 to increase the HDD size. basically throughout a compressed filesystem - wasn't it also called "Disk Space"? Later versions had a similar thing called "Double Space" or "Double Disk" or similar?!🤔

Do you know if Gary Kimura has any sort of social media? He wrote the NTFS file system which has the following insanely efficient structure for representing disk runs.

Can you adapt it as widget? Like conky? And what about free disk space, on summary page. Need to check new update

Is that reading the MFT or does it scan the entire drive?

I’m running the update on the original app and it reports I have the latest version.

As the author of a similar tool for Mac, I was curious to see what a Task Manager veteran has produced. For a beta, this looks good! It’s not reporting CPU values for me though. Anyway, good luck with it! 👏
