Tatu punishment is gonna be super controversial I feel

This is why eSports will stay stagnant in my opinion. “Real Sports” embrace drama and let players be themselves. It creates meaningful storylines and something fans can invest in. Only punish when it does cross a line. We don’t need to kid glove everything. Let DoubleLift call people trash. It’s boring hearing “yeah they are pretty good” every single series.

I think the severity of the punishment is diabolical for the crime. Mid series, I do think warrants a fine even a hefty one to really get it across this isn't okay. Suspension for playoffs is INSANITY even under the fear of a physical altercation.

Seems pretty non controversial to me. This is the 2nd punishment Tatu received within the same season/year. Combined with Riot doing an aggressive push against bad behavior overall and the severity seems to fit properly for someone within pro play.

I don’t think the punishment is harsh enough. Should be suspended for the rest of the year entirely so if Furia pull off the miracle next series he’s still out. It was so classless and against the spirit of LoL esports. I’d hate to see that in LCS or worlds.

Tatu did nothing wrong!!! It was actually entertaining if anything. The other Jgler said a lot worse things than just saying he was dog. Horrible from @lolesports.

This is totally fair honestly, I don’t know why esports ‘trash talk’ is held to a different standard than other sports. It’s not sportsmanlike and its not entertainment, it’s immature and players should he punished for it. I don’t know why you would want to encourage that stuff.

Where's Stepz punishment? Calling other proplayer dog, calling that same pro son of a whore/bitch and in pro scene refusing to fist bump. Tatú was okay yo trash talk from his side, to bad he got heated up and walk towards him.

Crazy how twitter has such a diffrent take than youtube. People on here really are desensitized, if that wasn't over the line you have to literally hit eachother or call out slurs to get any punishment

Once had an OCE Final where a player got suspended the previous series 🫡

jatt next lcs broadcast you and raz should fistfight and see if you can get a more severe punishment

sounds like a good handling to me, like aren't there rules in place to not go to the enemy side in general, outside the sportsmanship exchanges at the end?

What might have aggravated the situation is that it’s his second suspension of the split, plus the fact that he encroached on the other team's area before the series had ended.

I mean Inspired account shared a year ago and nothing happend. It is what it is :)

Nascar made the same mistake as Riot constantly makes. Sanitized and boring competitors because they are punished for doing anything after winning but saying the line, shaking hands, and thanking the brand. No room for fun or passion in this entertainment product.

Why should anyone take Riot seriously when it comes to their surveillance state and moral policing when they had Tyler1 on a ban on sight list, then completely 180 it and showed up on league events.

Its worse than that Jatt 1) Stepz called him a son of a whore (i.e. called his mother a whore) 2) This almost forces a rematch in lower bracket driving viewership

If they actually got into a physical fight I would understand this type of punishment, but as it was, holy shit idk man, they basically just lost the series right there

Pussy ass behavior. Absolutely pussy ass behavior. Of course riot acts like little pussies every fucking chance they can. Perpetually victims.

Physical violence would increase viewership tho. Jatt vs Vedius in the LCS dungeon for worlds please.

Fuck CBLOL Fuck Riot

the riot logo is literally a fist btw but sure let's punish the guy and his team (just fine him ffs)

The other jungle called him "son of a bitch" btw

Punishments’ goal is to deter. If they fined him, he wouldnt care and do it again. Correct punishment, considering that it could have lead to physical violence if the other guy (correctly) stood up for himself.

This why pro league WILL die besides LCK maybe LPL. Way too soft

Why is riot such pussy fags, that is why people stop watching it

And that’s why esports will stay stagnant and stale.

i'd say its like going to the opponent bench while the match just end first-half with your advantage. In football you can't walk to the opponent bench/dress room during the game without permission. Tatu could did trashtalk/banter, just dont invade opponent areas during the series

The game is extremely easy to play at the pro level. Anyone good enough should be able to come in and make the most basic decisions to maximize their chances of winning.

already surprised the riot games surveillance state didn't punish Inspired from trashtalking eu back at msi when you look at how they treat the chat in the lec already with line half of the audience permanently banned over nothingburgers (doesn't affect me personally btw)

In before they win the match and still make worlds.

Deserved
