The implementation of the first phase of Dubai Loop project will commence with the construction of a 6.4km pilot route, comprising four stations and linking the Dubai International Financial Centre and Dubai Mall. This phase will pave the way for expansion into the full project alignment, which will extend up to 22.2 km and include 19 stations, connecting Dubai World Trade Centre and the financial district with Business Bay. Dubai Loop project involves the construction of tunnels with a diameter of 3.6 metres, dedicated to vehicle transport. The tunnels will be developed using advanced tunnelling technologies that enable faster delivery, lower construction costs, and reduced impact on existing roads and utilities compared with conventional transport systems.

The project features revamping four main intersections along Hessa Street in order to facilitate transportation and provide the best experience for all road users in the emirate, and also includes constructing a 13.5-kilometre cycling track.

Today I announced another major charity donation on behalf of Azizi Developments. We will give AED 600 million to support the education sector by building a state of the art school and education complex in Dubai. The donation will be provided through the Mother’s Endowment campaign which is another worthy programme by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Global Initiative (MBRGI). It was an honour to present this donation to the MBRGI in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Thank you Your Highness Hamdan bin Mohammed for your encouragement and support. In this holy month of Ramadan, I am grateful to Allah the Almighty for giving us the ability to give back to Dubai, our cherished home, and to those in need around the world.

NEWS: The Boring Company's Vegas Loop system recently earned a near-perfect score of 99.51% upon completing the Department of Homeland Security’s BASE assessment for safety and security, the highest score awarded for any transportation system, achieving a Gold Standard Award for excellence. "TBC takes advantage of full vertical integration in order to increase speed and reduce cost. TBC designs the Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs), constructs the TBMs, designs the tunnels/stations, operates the TBMs to build the tunnels, and runs the resultant subsurface Loop transportation system."

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, I witnessed alongside my brother Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the historic launch of the high-speed train project linking Abu Dhabi and Dubai, cutting travel time to just 30 minutes at a maximum speed of 350 km/h. This milestone will help boost the UAE’s competitiveness and add AED 145 billion to the country’s GDP over 50 years. We also reviewed the UAE’s first passenger train fleet, capable of reaching speeds of 200 km/h, with initial stations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Fujairah.
