TCM will always be the best Asymm I’ve ever played

i always say it tcm in its first 2-3 months of release was peak asym gaming

Literally everything was so good until they reworked the skill trees…that was the start of the end….then Danny came and then Hands…and I knew TCM was cooked after Hands’ addition.

Danny is a good idea they just needed to nerf the time a bit. Adding hands to directly counter Danny was dumb asf and was even worse for the game overall. Danny was bad but Hands absolutely destroyed the balancing. Virginia is queen we love her 💕✨

Turned off replies because y’all are either rude or don’t understand what an opinion is idgaf about Friday the 13th, it was cool and fun but it was a joke game and never meant to be taken as a serious slasher game. TCM was always meant to be serious and THAT’S what I love abt it.

Like I get it guys….the 2017 game with playdough graphics that was made to be a party game is so much better than the 2023 serious Asymm that focused on the graphics and realism and was more of a love letter to the franchise than the former….but whatever they say I guess

I played F13 countless times, it was good but there weren’t as many “final girl” moments on the game as there were in TCM. Friday was funny but it wasn’t serious like TCM, two entirely different vibes.

I literally played Friday & TCM on release idgaf what you think this is MY opinion. TCM had a more serious vibe than Friday. Friday was always meant to be a joke game while TCM was a love letter to the horror film. I loved TCM for what it was and will always stand behind it.

I’m inclined to agree. The gameplay loop was incredible and it was so easy to just pick up and get lost in and so many ways to strategize and escape

Friday was just as buggy as Halloween was, the gimmicks were fun and it was cool but it needed more ironing out. TCM had the smoothest gameplay and gave me more “Final Girl” moments than any other Asymm I’ve ever played.

With the survivor that ruined the game, incredibly broken, there was no counter to her ability to remove locks instantly.

Lmfaoooo complaining about Connie in the big 2026? She wasn’t even that much of a problem considering it only activated on 1 lock with a massive cooldown inbetween. Danny is more of a problem & on family side Hands is a problem.

Not really, Victims could escape in 30 with Connie to instantly pick locks and Danny with the easy basement escape

Mind you Connie could only do that once before a massive cooldown which usually prevented her from using it twice in a match. Danny was problematic yes but Hands addition after Danny was even WORSE for the game. Danny just needed a timer nerf.

I’ve been watching TCM videos for the past few hours to see why people are so mad at GUN for and I saw it right away. The map design and immersive things you can do in TCM is so damn amazing for an Assym compared to how limited F13 and HLLWN are.
