It beggars belief that anyone could fall for this. Maori culture is tribal. We got over that about a Millenia ago. Why in hell would we want to go backwards? These racists are only in it for the money. For themselves.

Good on TPM for being honest about their policies. I'm totally against it yet I want parties to tell us their bottom lines. The same goes for National and their climate change policy. It gives me solid reasons to vote against them both.

I suspect they want rent seeking power. A captured tax base, who they don't represent, who they aren't accountable to and who will pay for them to be a sort of tribal elite aristocracy class.

Yep. It’s what they’ve been planning for quite awhile now. Many people - not just TPM - have attended, organised & spoken at entire multi-day conferences planning & designing exactly this. Mahuta was a key speaker at one when she was in Government. Nats are all over it.

Its not democratic when non-Maori / Crown have a majority of say over affairs that isnt in their sphere. Thats like saying Men have rights to speak and make decisions for women because men hold the majority in Parliament. Yes this constitutional transformation is needed!
