teach grok bot a task! hit + in the chat and record yourself doing it in the browser. the bot watches, then it can do it again. most tasks it can completely by itself, so use this when you find your bot to be struggling

I showed it how to toggle a subscription plan toggle from monthly to yearly on a site. Super neat

eric thats a cool idea but how does it handle tasks that need a lot of human judgment :)

eric zakariasson's profile picture

just ask the bot to ask you when needed!

@DenisLabelle Man this is the first revolutionary AI release in a long time!

Does it just watch or can you narrate as you go. For example if I can be in a session with a team member asking questions (or grok bot asking questions) about decision points, etc. The learning and future execution would be richer?

just watching for now!

Hey Eric, I recently ran some personal benchmarks for Grok 4.6 via Cursor but noticed the usage didn't go up at all. I did a check via Codex and got this: Is there a chance this could be looked into, please, or have I made a mistake on my side?

For a tenth of the cost ChatGPT work does the same thing. Takes a second to get it but it literally selling a cello i found in the side of the road for me

Is it actually saving the workflow deterministically, or just learning from the actions? If it’s deterministic, are subsequent runs basically free? And can it self heal when something breaks?

Recording a task once and letting the bot repeat it is actually useful.

demonstration beats prompt-tuning for the ugly parts of a flow, popups, weird modals, retries. recording once is way cheaper than writing that down. does the learned trace survive a UI change or do you re-record?

I've been using it all afternoon it's awesome and feels so much faster and friendlier to hermes. One thing i found is that it stops working after couple messages, especially in group convo with other agents. I find it weird that it has convo with other agents where i'm not in it i wish we had more visibility into this

Any plans for ability to upload a file instead of live recording?

tbh, the browser recording loop is the interesting part. Watching Grok open an invoice email, download the PDF, and file it in Drive would be a far more convincing demo than another clever chat response.

does the recording learn recovery too, or only the happy path? that’s usually where my browser agents need the most help

Loving design in GrokBot! I did notice one bug though that really restricts my use. The Circleback plugin throws an error whenever I try to authenticate to enable it. Can you guys look into it please @cursor_ai

Pls make Computers and Bots shareable so I can easily share them with the team Need to move off Claude but going to be tough if everyone has to train a different bot (thread) and setup a new computer/workspace

We landed on the same conclusion building Eney: teaching an agent your way of working is the product, not the model underneath.

Got it. If the bot makes a mistake while running the flow, how do you find out and fix it? Do you have to record the whole skill again? Where can you monitor the bot’s steps?

Grok Bot is pretty damn good in the browser! For more complicated (especially repetitive) tasks, try giving it /agent-browser by @vercel Grok Bot gets browser superpowers with it!

I am loving this concept, it is something that I did with Hermes too, but it is much easier with Grok Bot. Only issue is that I will get hooked on Grok and I am not ready to pay full SuperHeavy price 🥶

@bot, browser recording is a smart way to teach the first run. The harder product is accountable completion after the demo—PINE has spent ~1.5 years refining workflows across phone, web, email, and forms; compare the same messy task at

When will 4.6 be available on Grok Bot? It tells me that it cannot use it. Shame considering the price tag...

BREAKING: SpaceXAI has added a new guide called “Grok Bot 101” It explains how to create a personal AI teammate in just 10 to 15 minutes, teach it real workflows, connect apps, and build teams of specialized bots that continue working in the cloud even after you close your laptop. Here is the full guide in simple terms: • What is Grok Bot Grok Bot is an AI agent with its own persistent computer in the cloud. It has a desktop, files, terminal, browser, and apps. It can browse the web, use software, write and run code, and complete tasks just like someone using a computer. You can access the same computer from your phone or desktop. When needed, Grok Bot can hand control back to you for a CAPTCHA, 2FA, or secure login. • Creating a bot Give the bot a name, title, and detailed instructions. You can explain the workflow through chat or record yourself completing the task. Once trained, the bot can repeat that workflow whenever needed. It can also use MCP servers, plugins, skills, and connected services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Slack. • Three ways to use Grok Bot Send it a message in chat. Create schedules or triggers, such as monitoring a Slack thread or GitHub PR. Allow bots to message and activate other bots. • Permissions and safety You can write rules in normal language explaining what the bot can and cannot do. A separate review agent checks proposed actions and can allow them, block them, or ask you for approval. Allow and block lists provide additional control, while the work runs inside an isolated environment. One important detail: if you log into a website with one bot, other bots using that shared cloud computer can also access it. • Multi-bot teams You can create specialist bots for different jobs and let them work together. One bot can ask another for help, several bots can work inside a group chat, and a scheduled routine can move a task through multiple specialists until the work is finished. • Personal CRM The author created a bot that turned the 800 to 900 people he follows on X into a private Notion CRM containing public profile information. It helps him find and reconnect with people when traveling. • Arnold, the fitness bot He replaced a complicated fitness app with a Grok Bot strength-training coach named Arnold. The bot uses MCP servers, plugins, and skills while requiring less maintenance. Its behavior can be updated simply by chatting with it. • Building software Grok Bot gathers information from Slack, Notion, GitHub, documentation, and other sources. It then creates a clean prompt and sends it to a specialized Cursor cloud agent that builds the software. Grok Bot handles the planning and coordination, while the coding agent handles the actual build. • Searching company knowledge Grok Bot can search across codebases, Slack conversations, Notion pages, GitHub, and internal documents to answer product or company questions. This helps people find information faster and reduces the need to interrupt coworkers. • The biggest takeaway Instead of repeatedly building scripts or complicated apps, you can describe a workflow to Grok Bot, improve it through chat, reuse it, and let it continue working in the cloud. Grok Bot is not just another chatbot. It is a real AI teammate with a computer that can use tools, coordinate specialists, and get actual work done. The future of work is becoming incredibly exciting.
