#1– why does that kid even think he can say no to mom? #2-why are you helping your child when they can do it completely by themselves as a part of the daily chores for the household? #3-if my child said “no” a second time, kid would get a wallop on the ass.

Oh God. How lame. Back in the 70s and 80s my parents would’ve never even let me finish the question about picking up the dog poop. Before a word came out of my mouth they would’ve asked me if I was done picking up the dog poop and if I said no, someone would’ve been throwing something at my head. Which is how my kids were raised. I have five alpha sons and a modest and humble daughter. GenX for the win.
