Teach your children this: Colonization wasn't discovery. It was theft. It wasn't civilization. It was erasure. It wasn't trade. It was slavery. The real history is one of resistance, resilience, and reclamation. Pass that truth on

I’m teaching my kids that these people were retarded and never even invented a wheel or a boat before slavery and we gave them a better life by bringing them to America

New Direction AFRICA's profile picture

I will explain it to you as if you were a small child, because your thinking is very small. You said these people were "retarded" and never invented the wheel or a boat. That is a lie. 1. The wheel: The oldest stone circles and pottery wheels in the world are from Africa. Just because they didn't put it on a chariot for war doesn't mean they didn't understand circles. They used them for art, for building, for life. 2. The boat: Some of the first boats ever made were the reed boats on the Nile River in Africa, thousands of years ago. How do you think people fished? How do you think they traded along the coasts? With magic? 3. Better life? You gave them a "better life" by stealing them from their home, putting them in chains, beating them, selling their children, and working them to death in a field? That is not a gift. That is a crime. You are not teaching your children history. You are feeding them a fairy tale to make a monster feel like a hero. A real man teaches his children the truth, even when it is hard. A coward teaches them lies to make himself feel big. Be a real man. Stop lying.

Yeah bro, your “reed boats on the Nile” cope is cute but let’s get real. Those reed things were basic fishing rafts in one river valley, nothing like the ocean-crossing ships whites built to explore the world. No wheels on chariots, no wagons, no carts for trade or war outside Egypt’s tiny zone, while Europe and Asia had advanced wheel tech for millennia. And “better life”? Nah, facts show blacks in America today have higher living standards, longer lifespans, and more wealth than in any African country your heroes run. Median black household income here crushes sub-Saharan Africa, access to tech, medicine, education whites created. But keep dodging the point, your people still can’t build or maintain shit without white innovation. That’s why Africa stays a mess despite trillions in aid, while we turned a wilderness into the greatest nation. Teach your kids that truth instead of victim fairy tales, maybe they’d stop committing disproportionate crime here too. Blacks are 13% population but 50%+ of murders year after year, per FBI stats. That’s not “resistance,” that’s reality you can’t erase with excuses. Wake up or stay delusional.

@Its_ereko Really dont know history. I keep telling people this. Whites stole from the Afircan kingdoms. They stole blueprints and literature. Pharoah Kufus ship was one of the largest and most sophisticated ship in those times. Whites never created anything. They stole

Hank Washington's profile picture
Hank Washington8 months ago

Yeah bro, your “whites stole blueprints from African kingdoms” fantasy is pure afrocentric cope with zero evidence. Pharaoh Khufu’s ship was a fancy cedar wood funeral boat buried intact next to the pyramid around 2500 BC, built from imported Lebanese timber, not some ocean conqueror, and sub-Saharan blacks had nothing to do with ancient Egypt anyway. No records of whites “stealing” any tech from there, we advanced shipbuilding independently, from Viking longships to Columbus caravels that actually crossed oceans and built empires. Africans south of the Sahara? Still no wheel, no written language, no two-story buildings when Europeans arrived. Everything great in history, from guns to engines to electricity, came from white minds, not stolen from mud huts. Keep rewriting history to feel better about why Africa stays poor and violent today.

@Its_ereko 🤣🤣 Fantasy??? Its history.

Hank Washington's profile picture
Hank Washington8 months ago

No bro, calling it “history” doesn’t make it true when there’s zero evidence whites stole any ship designs from Africa. Khufu’s solar boat was a ceremonial funeral barge buried next to his pyramid, made from imported cedar, never meant for open sea, and that tech died out in Egypt anyway. Real ocean-crossing ships came from European innovation, Viking longboats to Portuguese caravels that actually discovered and mapped the world while sub-Saharan Africa stuck with basic canoes and no written records of advanced anything. Your afrocentric fanfiction falls apart every time real archaeology drops. We built empires with our own brains, you can’t point to one major invention post-colonization from black Africa that changed the world. That’s the actual history.

@Afrikatherebel I'm teaching my children that slavery is bad. That there was a time where every nation had slaves. People would sell their own people into slavery. I am teaching that when western civilization rose up, we cut those chains off. To never listen to anyone say Whites only slavers.

New Direction AFRICA's profile picture
New Direction AFRICA8 months ago

You don’t get credit for ending a crime you designed. Slavery existed elsewhere. But only the West industrialized it, built a global economy on it, and created race-based chattel slavery. You “cut the chains” only after centuries of profit. Then you built new chains: colonialism, debt, and systemic theft. Teach the whole truth, not just the chapter where you pose as the hero

Where did Dutch slavers get their inventory? I'll remind you. From Africans. Black natives of the continent. In African tribes slavery was a common thing. Usually spoils of war with another tribe or nation. There have been times in history that slavery was around in pretty much every culture. Take a seat.

@Its_ereko @Greyinggeek1 @Afrikatherebel Let's get something straight here. Not all slaves were bought. Some slave traders didn't want to pay. They stole/kidnapped Africans. Stop gaslighting and trying to whitewash history.

History is sometimes a shining tale written by victors, and sometimes a voiceless lament washed in the blood of the defeated. The ships presented as “discovery” carried not only wind in their sails, but the very spirit of a continent in their wake. Those who claimed they brought “civilization” left behind peoples whose languages were silenced, children torn from their roots, and temples stripped bare. This was not only the theft of land, but the theft of human trust itself. Under the crack of the whip, it was not just bodies that were crushed, but the cultural identity passed down across generations. To demand “real history” today is not merely to point at a culprit. It is to have the courage to stare into humanity’s deep and dark well. Yes, colonialism at its most brutal was theft, and a systematic operation of erasure. But justice requires seeing not only the West’s crimes, but every form of exploitation lying in wait across the whole landscape of history. Chains were fastened sometimes by transoceanic ships, sometimes by desert caravans, sometimes by local powers acting as instruments. The truth is to refuse to rank these sufferings, and instead to demand accountability for every scar left by the lash. To reclaim memory is not only to return stolen artifacts from museums. It is to restore the honor of millions of silenced voices to history’s podium. Because a real future can only be built when we tear down the false grandeur of the past and face the naked, unsettling truth buried beneath the rubble. Our story is the story of resistance, of identity reborn from ashes, and of an ancient resilience that can never be silenced.

This is incoherent nonsense. Colonization isn't theft; it's settlement in new territory.

New Direction AFRICA's profile picture
New Direction AFRICA8 months ago

Let me explain this simply. If I walk into your house, eat your food, sleep in your bed, and then tell you I have "settled" there.. is that not theft? If I take your land, force you to work it, and then call the profit mine.. is that not theft? If I declare my language, my God, and my law the only ones allowed on soil that was yours for centuries... is that not theft? Settlement is building a home where no one lives. Colonization is taking a home where someone already lives and calling it yours. You are using a polite word to disguise a violent act. Do not confuse the dictionary with the truth

Vincent J. Curtis's profile picture
Vincent J. Curtis8 months ago

Your comparison is way off. The "your" part is especially inappropriate; the idea of land ownership is European, not African; and besides all that, where are whites now in dominant control of sub-Sahara Africa, as they are in North America? Your grievance mongering is incoherent .

New Direction AFRICA's profile picture
New Direction AFRICA8 months ago

Your ignorance is breathtaking. 1. "The idea of land ownership is European, not African." False. African societies had sophisticated systems of land stewardship, communal rights, and territorial sovereignty long before Europe drew its first map. You confuse "private property deeds" with the concept of belonging to a land, which we understood deeply. 2. "Where are whites now in dominant control?" In the boardrooms of mining corporations extracting African resources. In the conditional aid packages that dictate our policies. In the military bases on our soil. Control doesn't always require a flag; it often wears a suit or a uniform. 3. "Your grievance mongering is incoherent." Our memory is not a grievance. It is a fact. Your denial is the only incoherent thing here. You are not debating history. You are performing ignorance. Sit down

Vincent J. Curtis's profile picture
Vincent J. Curtis8 months ago

Your claims to know history are ridiculous. We have race hustlers like you in North America. They benefit themselves & hold back the people they allegedly represent. Want to understand why Africa was so backward? Read Thomas Sowell Discrimination & Disparities.

New Direction AFRICA's profile picture
New Direction AFRICA8 months ago

You cite Thomas Sowell to explain Africa? A man who makes a living blaming the oppressed. How fitting. Your "backward Africa" myth is racist propaganda. While Europe was in its Dark Ages, Africa had the University of Timbuktu, the astronomy of the Dogon, the engineering of Great Zimbabwe. You accuse me of holding people back while defending colonialism and structural adjustment the very systems that did exactly that. You are not a scholar. You are a parrot for empire. The conversation is over.

Vincent J. Curtis's profile picture
Vincent J. Curtis8 months ago

That Africa was & remains backward is your own admission! How else could Africa be colonized & exploited by the superior development of the Europeans? How could that remain so today? You say it yourself! (You obviously haven't read Sowell.)

Slavery was world wide. Only 1.5% of Americans owned slaves. It was brutal oppression, that’s why half a million Americans died to end it. In 1842 we deployed our Navy to attempt to stop slavers from purchasing slaves from African tribes and then transporting slaves.
