What that teacher is doing is very passive aggressive. Invading a students physical boundaries & trying to intimidate them as opposed to communicating is very wrong. She behaves like a child & should not be a teacher.

I can remember having a few teachers like that who demand respect rather than earn it from their students.. we had some teachers whose students at the end of the day would clean up the classroom and take out any trash made that day so that staff would not have to do it..
