@NEAToday I’ve taught in states with a union and without. Honestly, no difference. School I taught at 15 yrs ago just got locks on doors because teachers insisted after a school shoot inside. Geuss what, we had a union.

@NEAToday You look too young for 22 yrs of teaching.Retired after 23 but I had been working other jobs prior to teaching. Funny thing is I initially went to college to become a teacher but switched to broadcast comms. Have worked in advertising & teaching. Enjoyed both! But was burned out!

For all my fellow teachers... if you’re a primary school teacher, would you ever consider teaching secondary? If so why? If not, why not? And same for secondary teachers, would you teach primary?
