Your sentiments are correct. Vibe coding is just another silly fad in a long line of silly fads which managers embrace because they don't know how to code. Maybe it is good enough to get a demo out. In the end there will be a big pile of slop nobody can understand. By that time all the damage will be done. Good programmers will have lost their jobs. Bugs will accumulate. They will never be solved.
