Bungie has zero credibility when it comes to raids, if one of their preferred teams don't win their arbitrary contest, they either 1. Make it so every new raid first has all these arbitrary requirements like you need to run it 2 times completing special challenges that they only tell their teams, or 2. They look at the raid back ends and fimd something to disqualify the random team from being the actual raid first. Which has happened, btw.
