14years as a software engineer. I have zero certification but I am the tech lead. Just know your shit. I interview people straight outta high school that are just good devs and good people and ai recommend them.

This is misleading about CISSP, you can’t even sit for the exam if you haven’t been a practicing professional for 5+ years.

Don't shortsight any Oracle Certs too. Data Center/Cloud related certs are a must. $$ are insanely increasing like never before. It's been a minute since the salaries have been booming like they did this past year.

@hawam how about learning the stuff properly then go for certification, jumping on cert all bcos of landing a great job might not suffice my opinion!!
