If you’re gonna force the interviewees double down on the squad being good enough and us needing to be at the top end of the table, they could at least be reminded that this time 7 days ago we were 2 points off 5th. Cheers

Train your shooters on the same technology the top coaches use for player evaluation. #MakeMoreShots #WinMoreGames

Keep rolling em out lads … Downsy next is it ?

At least it is clear now Tinnion is running the football. Bit frightening considering he was the worst manager we have ever had. ‘Invested well’ in the summer (not true) and squad best we have had. I’d argue likes of Reid, Webster, Kelly, brownhill would have something to say.

Smart to release this after the JL one, we all vented at Jon’s lack of statement and we all love Tins. However, after a press release and two video interviews, I still haven’t been given a satisfactory reason of why Nige was sacked. We were 2 points off 5th a week ago!

So much of this stuff just doesn’t wash I’m afraid. All of the points about best squad in a long time etc surely Nige had a massive part in creating?? A dozen injuries to that squad and we sack the manager for “recent results”. Nah I’m sorry, that’s a cop out.

only one i have any time for

Comms department- “let’s get tinns in front of the camera next so everyone feels better” Love you tinns btw

Blink twice if you need help Brian

Interesting ... we've now had two interviews that have told us absolutely nothing we didn't already know, but neither of which has answered the only question that people really care about.

So many positives in this 4 mins but the club felt the need to sack the man who created it all.

So recruitment was good, squad is strong, style of play is consistent across the club. So why do we need a new head coach then? Or are we pretending Nigel had nothing to do with that?

Tinman @tinnion_brian , you're one of my heroes, but you've spent the first part of this interviewing describing exactly what we had. The implication of what you're saying is that we didn't. If you and the board don't recognise that we had everything you say we want then I'm lost

If all season ticket holders donate £100 we could raise enough money to free @tinnion_brian from these hostage takers 😂😂😂

Nice script written by the Lansdowns - well repeated by Tinnion your salary and position is safe now👏👏

I think Dr Rennie leaving at the same time as Nige is really telling. I thought we had been playing how Tins has stated all season. So why change the manager when we are playing the way the club wants? More to this decision I think.

Pearson created that way of playing not the club

Sold Scott and Semenyo for £35mil and spent not even a quarter. Impossible to expect improvement just based on academy alone and selling our best players. Our squad is nowhere near the quality of the top 10

Another interview with absolutely nothing said. Stop rolling out these interviews where truth can't be told!

In fairness, Tinnions interview so much better than Lansdowns. Thankfully able to articulate it much better. Await new head-coach announcement.

So nige did everything we wanted but we didn't like him but we want to appoint a manager like him.

Just a really weird pair of interviews. Packed full of ‘they’ve got do what we say and want’ vibes. And again, what is the actual point of the interviewer being there? He’s an experienced operator who sounds like a scared 18 year old.

Is there a queue forming for pointless interviews this morning?

2 points of 5th 2 weeks ago mid injury crisis.

Is it me or are these ‘sound byte’ interviews just a little odd? The club trying to justify the sacking by saying basically that Nigel was underperforming with the squad he had and he was happy with the recruitment. Sorry but I’m not convinced by any of these interviews

Love Tin man, but really finding it hard to agree with the points he’s making. Squad is no where near as strong as we’ve had in previous years. Upper management or either deluded, or completely in denial about our ambition

I really don't think he's looked that comfortable in the interview, almost like he's trying hard not to say something he shouldn't....

Didn't even get asked about the sacking...all games bloody games

Sorry @tinnion_brian but not buying that. We had stability, we had players fighting for the manager. We had a manager who knew how to get out of this league. Should’ve let his contract run, maybe even extended by another year. But no, you pulled the trigger far too early.

Complicit brown noser. Great player, shit manager. Like a rabbit in the headlights trying to remember everything he has been told to say. Legend my arse 🐍

Now the club legend is talking utter shite he needs to go too part of the problem

So Tins is essentially running the football side of things, they just want a nodding dog to be in the dugout on a match day and to take the blame when things don’t go right on the pitch. Shambles. Be glad to see the lot of them go.

Brian @NigelGPearson Sacking was personnel not football related in my opinion.

Guilty as a puppy sat next to a pile of poo
