Shawn could play really really fast but also had the problem of trying to incorporated that into a solo where it just didn't need to be. That clip gets really bad at the end IMO.

Yeah it’s cool, and I respect Shawn Kane as much as the next guy, but 2 minutes of this and I’ve had enough. I like technical skill mixed with songwriting skill

It's cool but can get old quick, especially if you're listening to someone like Malmsteen

Like others have said, a whole show of just this would get old. A mix of technicality and feel is what makes a solo stand out to me. The latter is a little harder to quantify, but people know what it sounds like to them when they hear it
