30 years from now they'll look back at todays technology and laugh at how primitive we are.

I remember going with my father in '90' to purchase a new computer. For our business, Watkins Products, in Augusta, Georgia. Having learned in the 9th grade in '89 about computers. I talked to him about branching out into computers to help my mom, who did all the paperwork. It'd free up time for her. I even joined AOL and dial up took forever when it first started. Staying late hours just to talk to someone else thousands of miles away. Good memories.

Between 1982 and 1987 I ran my new insurance brokerage with 15 employees entirely on Radio Shack TRS-80's. We had about 20 separate PC's networked together and routed to a T-1 line to communicate with clients. Nobody else was doing that in those days. We wrote our own software.

$1,900 back then…. When things actually cost $90 to make and labor was cheap.
