Ted Williams knew Mike Piazza was going to be great👀🐐

@OleTimeHardball @StrikeoutBuzzX As they say - game knows game.

@StrikeoutBuzzX What a great video!

@StrikeoutBuzzX Ted Williams, the greatest hitter there ever was.

@StrikeoutBuzzX And yet he was drafted in the 62nd round.

@StrikeoutBuzzX From one great to another 🫡

@StrikeoutBuzzX 😮 prophet and nobody drafted Piazza until Dodgers did Tommy a favor. Just the sound of the contact would make u pay attention. Ted Williams was the man.

@StrikeoutBuzzX Of course. It’s Ted Williams.

@StrikeoutBuzzX Ted williams was an amazing man

@StrikeoutBuzzX the great ones always know - like gretzky when he first saw 16-year old crosby

@StrikeoutBuzzX Fuck moneyball give me TEDDYBALL

@StrikeoutBuzzX Piazza hit the ball harder than anyone I’ve ever seen. Balls just rocketed off his bat.

@StrikeoutBuzzX Greatness recognizes greatness

@StrikeoutBuzzX love listening to the greatest of alltime talk...

@StrikeoutBuzzX The juice helped a lot

@StrikeoutBuzzX Ted Williams knew but it took 62 rounds and a FAVOR from Lasorda to draft him. Why?? All he did was put up inedible numbers year in and out. In today’s world with just 20rnds and some FA signings, how many more of these kids are getting overlooked cause the scouting is junk?

@StrikeoutBuzzX He’s one of the few guys who understands the swing. The conversations with Tony Gwynn are remarkable for those who understand. Amazing more players did not listen to him or model after him.

@StrikeoutBuzzX Is this real? Jeez. Wow. He knew…

@StrikeoutBuzzX If Mike Piazza’s father never knew Tommy Lasorda, he would’ve never been drafted

@StrikeoutBuzzX If that's true, Piazza's draft position is even more mystifying

@StrikeoutBuzzX What a legend! Immortalized by my child home home in Carmel Valley CA with the greatest freeway- and the town is unrecognizable from the 90's

@StrikeoutBuzzX @JayR920

@StrikeoutBuzzX What. A piece of advice

@StrikeoutBuzzX I bet Mike Piazza cherishes and remembers this like it was yesterday, very cool.

@StrikeoutBuzzX And then he was drafted in the 58th round

@StrikeoutBuzzX Tommy Lasorda’s god son Mike Piazza. His dad was huge real estate developer in Florida. Obviously knew the right people but Mike was still drafted by Dodgers with their last pick in draft. ROY 93

@StrikeoutBuzzX Yeah, but could Piazza pilot a fighter plane?

@StrikeoutBuzzX Wow

@StrikeoutBuzzX normal healthy men.."i hate when they ask that!"☹️

@StrikeoutBuzzX El paisano Ted

@StrikeoutBuzzX And the only way he got drafted was a favor from Tommy LaSorda. Crazzyyyyy

@StrikeoutBuzzX This is awesome

@StrikeoutBuzzX Greatness knows greatness.
