Kilburn High Road, Camden, London Four men have been arrested after Flying Squad officers swooped in and detained them while they were robbing a mobile phone shop in Kilburn. Two of the suspects detained staff and customers on the shop floor whilst the remaining two forced a staff member to open the storeroom. The suspects proceeded to load phones into the bag but Flying Squad detectives arrived swiftly on scene and stopped them before they could run away.

The victim was walking to Little Caesars when he was approached by a group of suspects. The victim felt someone grab his gold chain from behind and rip it off his neck. Multiple suspects then pushed the victim to the ground and began punching and kicking him. Additional suspects joined the assault before all suspects fled the area. The victim described the suspects as Black males wearing dark clothing. Some of the suspects were wearing ski masks. Two men were arrested in Epworth yesterday evening after they were found in possession of US$9,000 in counterfeit banknotes. The suspects used the fake money to pay for accommodation at a local lodge. They initially managed to deceive the lodge staff, but the scam was later discovered while they were still staying there, leading to their arrest. During investigations, it was established that a silver Land Rover visited the lodge daily to collect the two suspects. We also managed to obtain a photo of the vehicle. If you have fallen victim to a scam involving these men or recognise the vehicle, please come forward. The suspects are currently being detained at Domboramwari Police Station, and any information that may assist investigators would be greatly appreciated. Zimbabwe Republic Police
