#Hyderabad: #Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has alleged that Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 is stalled by the Centre. He said Phase-1 cost rose from ₹15,000 cr to ₹22,000 cr and accused the Telangana With KCR govt of failing to expand Metro to key areas. L&T projected ₹400 cr annual losses and was reluctant to proceed. The Chief Minister said the State arranged a ₹13,600-cr IRFC loan at 4% for debt-ridden L&T, but alleged Union ministers Manohar Lal, Ashwini Vaishnaw and G Kishan Reddy, blocked fund transfer. #RevanthReddy also claimed that Telangana With KCR and KTR helped stall Phase-2, while #Ahmedabad and #Vizag Metro got approvals. Pawan Kalyan must think carefully before he speaks. People of Telangana have never cast an evil eye on anyone. We only wished Telangana could progress the way Konaseema did - Kavitha It’s been 12 years since our state was formed. We have always said Jai Telangana and Jai Andhra. We wanted Andhra to prosper just as we wanted Telangana to prosper. I even spoke in Parliament demanding special status for Andhra. For a separate Telangana, our children gave their lives. But actor Pawan Kalyan has stood against Telangana from then till now. If neighbours do well, Telangana is not jealous. We’re not the kind who want to snatch from others. We want to grow, but we never wish harm on anyone. If we had that mindset, the movement for Telangana would have looked very different. Our children sacrificed their lives, but not one hand was raised against people from another state.
