Why had I never been to these "secret" islands in DC? Well yesterday we went, and this is such an incredible DC Summer Activity everyone should do. We cooled down with a mango slushie at a new-ish waterfront pizza spot (ALX) and sipped on some summer crushes at an island bar by the Pentagon (DC). Plus we went back to the more well known Theodore Roosevelt Island which is one of the coolest monuments in DC. If you go to these places I highly recommend riding a bike. They are all off the Mount Vernon trail and all of them have terrible parking situations. This was an AMAZING day in and around the city...

🥹 We couldn’t be happier right now. During the night of July 22-23, our team van was broken into, and a number of our beautiful Rose bikes were stolen. 😡 A nightmare for our team and we were afraid we would never see them again. Until, during the rider meeting before one of our races in Spain, we received a call from the French police. 📞 🫶 Our bikes had been found, and thankfully, they were in good condition. This week, our bikes finally made their way back to our service course. Luckily, there are plenty of highlights and great weekends when running a professional cycling team, but there are also a few more intense ones. We’ve put together a recap of maybe the most intense weekend so far this season. 📽️ 🔗 🍀 And luckily: all’s well that ends well. Time to focus on the things we love in cycling!

Residents of Tshwane, we are back in Sunnyside this evening for a by-law enforcement operation. We are at the street that houses the popular nightspot House 22. That club and many other businesses here have been served with eviction notices by the City of Tshwane. These businesses don’t have valid permits and many are none complaint. We were here a few months back and some of those we closed managed to reopen. We are closing them down again. City of Tshwane

Any normal person what pass this situation with no hesitation and with no issues. Not this cyclist. This is a normal situation faced on many city roads. Why cause a problem when there wasn’t one? This type of video belittles actual problems we face on the roads while cycling. This cyclist acted extremely entitled and is one of the reasons people hate us cyclists….. We must do better 🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴
