Do you eat chicken raw? If the answer is no then I don’t know what the shock is about. Did you expect that a thing that was once living won’t have other microorganisms in its body tissue and stuff?

There is no cause for alarm. This is normal with raw food, hence why you cook them properly. A few things to understand: Raw chicken, like many other types of raw meat, can contain microorganisms because it is a natural environment for various bacteria and other microbes. Microorganisms are found all around us, and they can be present on the surface and within the tissues of raw chicken for several reasons: 1. Environmental: Chickens are raised in various environments, and during processing, they can come into contact with bacteria present in their living conditions, food, and water. 2. Processing: Contamination can occur during the processing and packaging of chicken. Cross-contamination, where bacteria from one source are transferred to another, can happen if proper hygiene and sanitation measures are not followed. 3. Animal Microbiota: Just like humans, animals have a microbiota of beneficial and potentially harmful microorganisms in their bodies. Some of these can be present in the chicken's internal organs or on the skin. 4. Storage and Handling: Improper storage and handling of raw chicken can allow any existing microorganisms to multiply. For example, if raw chicken is stored at temperatures that are too high, it creates an ideal environment for bacterial growth. 5. Foodborne Pathogens: Some microorganisms found in raw chicken, such as Salmonella and Campylobacter, can pose health risks if ingested. These pathogens are responsible for foodborne illnesses when chicken is not cooked thoroughly. So, it’s important to handle raw chicken with care to minimize the risk of contamination and foodborne illnesses. This includes proper refrigeration, thorough cooking (to kill microorganisms), and good sanitation practices in the kitchen. Lastly, when you’re cooking chicken it is recommended to do so in a safe internal temperature, which is typically 165°F (73.9°C), ensures that any potential harmful microorganisms are destroyed. ✌️

All food items contain harmful living organisms, which is why it's advisable to cook ur food properly before eating; Same goes with fruits, wash thoroughly, & preserve nonperishables as recommended. Making videos scaring people is pointless, highlight the dangers but don't scare people.

Micro-organisms are a normal part of life. They exist everywhere. All the surfaces on earth are covered by micro-organisms, including human skin and body orifices such as mouth, vagina, etc. normal micro-organisms do not cause any problems. Most are friendly and cause no problems. In fact some even protects us. The only microorganisms that cause problems are the BAD microorganisms which are called PATHOGENS . For example human skin is entirely covered by Staphylococcus. It is called Normal flora. If a pathogenic microorganisms such as Clostridium perfringens. lands on your skin, it eventually causes a disease condition called Gas gangrene . Many other pathogenic micro organisms causes different other problems. The human vagina is naturally occupied by a group of micro organisms called Lactobacilli . They are friendly organisms and cause no problems. However, if a harmful organism like Neisseria gonorrhoeae find their way into a woman’s vagina, she develops Gonorrhoea, if Treponema Pallidum finds access, she has Syphilis, etc etc That being said, those micro-organisms on chicken skin might just be harnesses normal flora and fuana . Nevertheless, it is still advisable to cook your meat and food before you eat it, as cooking reduces load of harmful micro organisms which may have existed in the food. Thanks for Coming to Dr Penking’s Ted talk y’all 😚
