Democrats are trying to extend Haitian Temporary Protected Status. They never intend for “temporary” immigration programs to end. They call them temporary at first. Then they invent excuses for new extensions.

Here is the TPS racket: Declare an emergency. Grant “temporary” status. Wait for the emergency to pass. Extend the status anyway. Repeat until temporary becomes permanent. Democrats built a one-way ratchet for mass immigration.

Temporary Protected Status was supposed to be just that. TEMPORARY. Democrats took advantage of a program meant to help people and used it to grant de facto mass amnesty. Watch Tom McClintock open today's hearing ⬇️

Temporary Protected Status is a decades-long, typically bipartisan program that helps people who cannot safely return to their home countries. Trump’s mass deportation agenda is deadly and it must end.

Temporary Protected Status was designed to be just that—TEMPORARY. Haiti’s TPS was granted following an earthquake that took place over 15 years ago, it was never intended to be a de facto amnesty program, yet that’s how previous administrations have used it for decades. President Trump and Secretary Noem are restoring integrity to our immigration system and will continue to enforce federal immigration law. Tricia McLaughlin

The Supreme Court has officially ruled President Trump can end Temporary Protected Status for Haitians and Syrians in America. It’s time to deport them all.

Congressman Wesley Hunt has been clear: Widespread fraud and systemic abuse are the direct result of policies that invite exploitation. That’s why today, he introduced the TPS Reform Act of 2026, legislation that eliminates Temporary Protected Status designations for certain countries and restores clear statutory boundaries to the program. The American people deserve an immigration system where humanitarian policies are not weaponized against the nation they are meant to serve.

[A federal judge just cleared the way for the Trump administration to end Temporary Protected Status for thousands of Ethiopians. This ruling allows deportation protections to be lifted for about 5,000 people. It marks another win in the broader effort to restore control over immigration. Previous administrations repeatedly extended these temporary protections. President Trump is delivering on his promise to enforce the law and prioritize American interests.

The Trump admin is ending temporary protected status for Afghan citizens in the US, including some who helped the US military during the war - and their family members. Veterans are organizing to accompany these Afghans to their immigration hearings in a show of solidarity.

Watch Senator Eric Schmitt force Sen. Ed Markey to admit that Haitians' "temporary" protected status is, in fact, permanent "The senator from Missouri said the key word is temporary. No, the key word is protection." And Schmitt's speech is 🔥🔥 btw: "Those supporting this bill have a message for the American people. Your vote doesn't matter. Your community doesn't matter. Your livelihood doesn't matter. They're trying to use Washington's oldest immigration trick: call it temporary, extend it forever, and cash in on a new voter base. The American people voted to end this scam. Washington Democrats are voting to keep it alive and remind you who they think is really in charge. Here's the truth Democrats won't say out loud. They never ever plan to end any of these programs. They call them temporary to get them started. Then they manufacture an excuse for every extension. Another year, another election, another deadline ignored. By the time the public notices, temporary status has become permanent residency in everything but name. Democrats can use this scam to build a new political constituency, a new voter base. Haiti was first designated for temporary protected status following the 2010 earthquake. The designation was supposed to last for 18 months. It has now lasted 16 years. Yet we're still being told that this is a temporary program."
