Ten years since I voted for Scottish Independence. Mulling it over this morning in sunny Dundee, things have changed. But my core motivations for wanting Scotland to be a small, independent European nation remain the same

Scotland is running a 17% budget deficit. Greece went bankrupt at 15%. Not sure "exciting" is quite the word you are looking for. "apocalyptic" closer to the mark.

And consider yourself lucky that a majority of your co-citizens voted otherwise

Oh Alistair you are right things have changed drastically. The SNP have been a disaster for Scotland our lovely country is a mess! 10 years have passed and they still can't provide a fiscal plan. We need a party who puts Scotlands interests first. #SNPout

Still angry with all the bowers and scrapers that voted No and what a mess now , 10 years on what we do know is every dirty trick was played by the British state to stop Independence , can`t believe people in the 21st century are still happy to live on their knees .

There is a disconnect in this whole argument. Swapping one union for another isn’t independence - it’s just a different shag. And the lionisation of the EU shows how little folk understand it.
