With the Dangote Refinery now operational, it has become even more critical to question why public refineries remained dormant despite decades of funding and promises of revival. Nigerians deserve clear answers and responsible stewardship of national assets. The House has resolved to set up a Joint Committee (as amended) to investigate all funds allocated between 2010 and 2024, determine the true state of the refineries, and identify those responsible for financial infractions.
