Dad likes his steak on the rare side, so the centre may look too pink for some people but that’s how dad likes it. If I were to do it again, I would raise the temperature a bit so the pastry was a little more browned. Beef Wellington was made with homemade djon mustard, homemade rough puff pastry, mushroom duxelles, spinach green crepes and prosciutto. Served with Bordelaise sauce (which was made from 20 hour reduction veal bone stock and Bordeaux wine reduction), pomme de terre (I attempted to make Michelin starred Chef Joel Robuchon's recipe. It’s silky, buttery and luxurious double strained mashed potatoes) and honey butter glazed parsnips and carrots. #britishfood #englishfood #uk #british #beefwellington

Host: You're probably noticing Thanksgiving prices are up. The price of a turkey is a bit higher, with poultry up 1.4% from a year ago. Mashed potatoes, those will cost you nearly 4% more this year. Prices for canned vegetables are nearly 5% higher. Bread is up 2%. And then we've got dessert, apples for that apple pie costing 5.3% more this year.
