The gym is where I learned discipline. But the farm is where I learned reality. You can bench three plates and still not be strong enough to dig a trench, haul water, or stack hay in 100-degree heat. Gym strength doesn’t always translate to the real world. But farm strength? That translates everywhere. Out on the property, there’s no perfect form, no mirrors, no “three sets and done.” There’s just work that has to be done, or nature wins.
