POCSO accused and son of Union Minister X, Bandi Sai Bageerath was taken into police custody from Cherlapally central prison a little while ago. The Medchal-Malkajgiri court granted three day police custody yesterday. An FIR on 25 year old Bandi Sai Bageerath was filed on 8th May 2026 for alleged sexual assault of a 17 year old minor. After nine days, Bandi Sai Bageerath was arrested/surrendered….a day after the honourable high court vacation bench rejected his interim bail plea. Bageerath was sent to Cherlapally Central Prison on 14 days judicial custody. Today he is being taken for police custody.

In Jaipur, RSS workers were injured after some people attacked them with a knife during a religious programme at a temple in Jaipur. Several News Channels and RW accounts are mentioning names of the accused as 'Naseeb and his son', suggesting that the accused were muslims. Fact : Names of the accused who attacked the RSS workers are Naseeb Singh Chaudhary, his wife Nirmala and son Bhishma Singh. Police have arrested three accused. The accused and the victims are from the same religion as per Police video statement.
