Shockingly, nobody was hit by the gunfire, but four victims hit by the vehicle were transported to the hospital. SLC police were alerted to the alleged shooter at the “No Kings” protest by another attendee, who grabbed the suspects bag because of a rifle sticking out. It seems the suspect was trying to hide amongst protesters and is confirmed to have been marching with them in a group earlier on. Three people were taken into custody and the alleged shooter was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound. No shots were fired by police.

As I was walking up to PSU in Portland, Oregon, a car turned down an alley in front of me where the crowd of protestors were standing. On the dash was a can of bear mace and the license plate holder read "we the people". This wasn't an accident. The driver accelerated towards protestors and police before exiting with the can of mace fleeing the car and spraying people on the way out.

JUST IN: There has been a mass shooting at a night club in Alabama. A gunman fired into the building killing four people and injuring nine others. Investigators believe at least one person fired shots from the street into the nightclub on 27th Street North, where responding officers found multiple gunshot victims around 11 p.m. local time. The Orlando Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in Downtown Orlando, resulting in multiple victims. On 11/01/2024, at approximately 1:07 a.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired at Central Blvd. and Orange Ave. Within minutes, a second shooting was witnessed by officers south of Washington Street on Orange Avenue. A total of 8 victims were shot. Tragically, 2 individuals have been pronounced deceased. The remaining 6 victims were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) in stable condition. The ages of the victims range from 19 to 39-years-old. Shortly after the initial shots were reported, a suspect was located by officers on OPD’s Downtown Detail and taken into custody at Washington St. and Orange Ave. That suspect has been identified as 17-year-old Jaylen Dwayne Edgar, who was previously arrested for Grand Theft in 2023. In light of this tragic incident, the Orlando Police Department would like to remind the community that safety is our top priority. Nearly 100 officers were patrolling Downtown at the time of the shooting, due to the large crowd expected on Halloween.
