A fun new hobby of mine is taking the Tesla to different areas to see how FSD performs. A few days ago I drove from Long Island to Atlantic City. FSD did 99% of the driving. The traffic was very mixed for most of the trip so I considered it a real challenge. Here are a few interesting moments. First time I had Tesla FSD disengage because of weather. We hit a major rain storm. After about a minute I was able to reengage FSD

In roughly two months, Tesla FSD got another approval in Europe. Europe is pressing “allow FSD” country by country. Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, and now Denmark all said yes. FSD doesn’t grow inside PowerPoint decks; it grows on real roads with real drivers and weird European traffic habits. Still supervised. Still responsible. A Tesla on Full Self-Driving blows through a stop sign at 35mph and nearly collides with two cars. The kicker is that this was during a livestream debate-demo-drive between FSD fan Ross Gerber and FSD skeptic Dan O'Dowd. This should go without saying, but for an automated system to be at the safety level of a human, this cannot happen. The fact that this occurred yesterday during THIS drive (along with other safety-critical disengagements) should serve as statistical evidence of how frequent this is occurring. IMO, this is the biggest nail in the Tesla FSD coffin.
