So the truck guy felt inconvenienced for having to press on the break after he sped up to block the Tesla from merging, and to show how inconvenienced he was, he spends ten mins following them around. Are boomers so bored they just drive around in their pickups looking for something to get outraged by? Sad.

Being annoyed because someone moved forward to zipper merge when they maybe should have moved back is one thing. Speeding up to block them out when their lane is ending is another thing altogether.

everyone in my family knows where the local police stations are in our area. if they are ever followed or chased they know to calmly drive to front of police station. Road Rage drivers dont want cops involved.

Honestly, everyone should know by now that most pickup truck drivers have SDE and merging in front instead of bowing down will set it off - so I’m blaming the Tesla for being an idiot… doubly so because he has his kid in the vehicle.

So how again is an illegal road maneuver justified by the Tesla driver to "get away"? He could have easily driven to the nearest police station to de-escalate the situation.

Why not slow down so you don't cut off the truck? I'm doing a zipper merge so I'm going to cut in front of you and ride the ass of the vehicle in front of me! That's my safety distance you just took up because slowing down to go behind me is too much to ask.

He should have been arrested. Call the police or Mounties or whatever you have there and let the police handle it. Never try and negotiate with these idiots. People are shot and killed in road rage incidents all of the time in the US and I’m sure elsewhere.

Either the pickup isn’t tailgating, or the Tesla driver did not have enough space to merge. Which is it? Not defending the pickup driver, but you can’t have it both ways.
