Ferrari: "Our V12 sings." 🎻 Bugatti: "16 cylinders. $5M." 💸 Tesla: "Cute. We bolted SpaceX ROCKET THRUSTERS to a car." 🚀 0 to 60 in 0.81 seconds. Every track record on Earth is about to fall. Supercar buyers aren't buying supercars anymore. They're lining up for this. This isn’t just fast—it’s a flying car. Physics just got a cheat code. 🎮 $TSLA #Roadster

Cold-gas thrusters on a road car is pure SpaceX DNA. Butttt I think the Rocket version will be rare. Worth every second of the wait though!

Update: the Roadster doesn’t just have thrusters. It has fans that pin it to the road, 10 air nozzles that fly it over a Semi, and it demonstrated a 0.81 s 0-60. Here’s what Tesla and SpaceX actually built together:

Back in 2018, Elon Musk said the new Tesla Roadster was getting a SpaceX option package with ~10 rocket thrusters He even said: “Maybe they will even allow a Tesla to fly…” At the time, it sounded completely insane 8 years later, Tesla actually built it and demonstrated the Roadster flying through the air 2018: Crazy idea 2026: Real engineering marvel

People keep saying the Roadster can't be road legal because it has thrusters. Tesla has already explained this: the Thrust version is being developed for road use. You just won't be able to engage the thrusters on public roads.

I gave Grok 4.7 a single Tesla Roadster image in Grok Build It turned that one image into an interactive 3D experience.....multiple views, working controls, and even a Fly Mode where the Roadster lifts off and fires its thrusters From one static image to this Grok’s capabilities are getting seriously impressive
