"I don't care that they stole my idea . . I care that they don't have any of their own. " - Nikola Tesla

"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." - Nikola Tesla

Sad but true! Nikola Tesla is often referred to as "the man who invented the 20th century" or "the man who lit the world". Tesla was a brilliant inventor and visionary who made many contributions to the fields of electricity, magnetism, radio, and wireless power. He is best known for his work on the alternating current (AC) system, which is widely used today for power transmission and distribution. He also experimented with wireless energy transfer, X-rays, radio waves, and remote control. He envisioned a world where electricity would be available to everyone, without wires or cost. However, Tesla faced many challenges and obstacles in his life. He often clashed with other inventors, such as Thomas Edison, who promoted the direct current (DC) system and tried to discredit Tesla's work. He also had difficulty finding investors and supporters for his ambitious projects, such as the Wardenclyffe Tower, which was intended to transmit wireless power across the globe. He was betrayed by some of his financiers, such as J.P. Morgan, who withdrew his funding and prevented Tesla from completing his tower. He also suffered from mental health issues, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, paranoia, and hallucinations. He died alone and in debt, in a hotel room in New York, in 1943. Tesla's legacy was largely forgotten for decades, until his patents and inventions were rediscovered and appreciated by later generations of scientists and engineers. He is now widely regarded as one of the most influential and innovative figures in the history of science and technology.
