Grok is about to get a lot more passports. Tesla is bringing its in-car xAI assistant to India, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Which makes sense, because a car assistant gets much more useful when it can handle real-world chaos in real languages. Routes. Questions. Local navigation. Random curiosity from the passenger seat. Possibly one “unhinged” personality too many. The car used to answer with warning lights and a navigation screen. Now it is getting a personality that does more than beep politely. FSD took me into the HOV lane yet again today despite me being the only passenger in the car. This time when I yanked it back into non-HOV lane and tried to engage FSD again, it blinked red asking me to take over immediately and displayed a message on screen saying FSD aborted due to system error. I had to drive manually for the rest of the trip. I thought I got a FSD strike but nope, I was all clear. FSD v12.6.4 continues to fail. 👎 Tesla Elon Musk Ashok Elluswamy

My Cyberbeast just autonomously drove me home from Napa - a flawless ~2-hour trip with ZERO disengagements the entire way. Safely parked in the driveway and is now already downloading FSD v14.3. I genuinely can’t imagine how it could possibly get better… but that’s the magic of Tesla FSD. It just keeps getting better and better. Can’t wait to try it first thing tomorrow morning!

Turns out, the 3,000 Terafab jobs are just the opening act. Elon says they’re only for phase 1 of a 10-phase build. With investment potentially passing $100 billion, Terafab is being built to make the huge number of chips Tesla and SpaceX expect to need for FSD, Cybercab, Optimus, Starlink and Starship. Tonight, I tested the latest Tesla FSD build v14.2.1.25 on my Cybertruck while turning into my neighborhood—and unfortunately, the persistent phantom emergency braking bug is still there. The vehicle suddenly slams on the brakes, detecting a nonexistent “ghost” obstacle in the road. (See video) This issue first appeared with FSD v14.1 and hasn’t been resolved yet. 📍 GPS location: 28.240491, -81.606942 My nearby friend with a 2025 Cybertruck experiences the exact same problem at the same location. Notably, it happens in both FSD mode and regular manual driving—but only started after the v14.1 update. I’d really appreciate reposts to help bring this to the attention of Tesla AI, Ashok Elluswamy, or Elon Musk so the team can prioritize a fix! 🚀

FSD’s anticipation is honestly scary good. When you first watch it, the Prius just looks like it’s making a normal lane change from two lanes over. But FSD was already preparing for something more. Only after you play it back with telemetry do you realize it starts slowing down before the intent is obvious. The Prius was about to cut all the way into our lane.

There are so many misconceptions about Tesla FSD, it can get out of hand sometimes. In reality, FSD is one of the most transformative technologies out there. With a single press of a button, it can drive you from point A to point B smoother than a human, all while being 9x safer. For some people, driving can be challenging due to anxiety or other issues. FSD cures that. It gives freedom back to people of all ages, most importantly the elderly. Autonomy is here, and it’s only getting better. When you buy a Tesla, you are buying a Personal Robotaxi.
