@elonmusk Seems like a lot of wasted engineering to this point. How do we know this version won't also be a "waste". Seems like the Tesla strategy of FSD has changed massively 3 or 4 times by now.

@elonmusk Because you don't know until you know. Literally no one on earth knows what is needed to solve FSD, otherwise it would be solved. We are lucky enough to get to go through this with Tesla (if we want) whereas other companies do all this developing behind closed doors.

@elonmusk Incredible. Kinda spooky. Kinda awesome.

@elonmusk That’s nice and all, but man, I just need it to read the weather conditions properly and fix the wipers! Holy smokes they are bad right now!

@elonmusk The birth of AI.

@elonmusk I hope so because there are places where a sharp curve sign would been nice to read. No Turn on Reds. Yep. I hope v12 is like the end all slap to FSD problems.

I gathered this from other conversations around V12, and it's still mind blowing. It's like if you were to take a 15 year old who's never been told anything about driving, then took them to a different country and had them learn just by watching you drive. A human would really struggle to remember the nuances and learn this way, especially not even knowing the language on the signs.

@elonmusk I'll believe it when we see it. Can we get someone else from Tesla saying things

@elonmusk Love it! That's learning.
