Douma’s observation that Google could be dominating AI yet keeps shooting itself in the foot is interesting. To me it shows how important the CEO is in any company. Proper leadership and decision making is sooo important. Google is strong in LLMs, but Elon is running xAI and Tesla towards leadership in AGI and embodied AI respectively.
