the movement and the direction of their fall is close enough. just the music is sending me 😭 i also figured maybe the comedy comes from the dramatic fall itself that’s why it’s paired with choir music idk if that makes sense

It's the fact that the original is more realistic with the fall that's sending me, like it's a pretty accurate depiction of terminal velocity. But the live action? That is NOT how fast anything should fall oh my god

What the…. That’s it?! There’s no yelling comedy? And they changed the soundtrack to something soft replacing the original intense soundtrack? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

I won’t lie, I kinda like the sense of foreboding that the LA brings with the more ethereal section of the score. The silence as well creates that sense of dread.

ig it’s two different versions now. one that’s chaotic and panicked, and another that’s muted, building a slow sense of dread. I think i’m beginning to understand the change but I still need to get my head around it. Maybe seeing it in cinemas will change it for me

Im really starting to debate if I want to see this or not… is that bad? I’m a huge HTTYD fan, have been since the beginning and love everything about the series (sans maybe the Hidden World a tad),and I just am not feeling it for this live adaptation so far. Getting Disney vibe
