This is the brand-new Android version of X that was force-updated on my phone just 5 minutes ago. The new UI and animations are now officially rolling out. So far, I think it looks pretty good. The overall experience feels more lively and modern. Also, there's no way to switch back to the old version anymore, which means this is the final public release rather than a test build. What do you think of the redesign?

Thank you for your feedback on the engine I’ve been working on, I’m glad you liked it! As part of my progress, I’ve implemented 8-directional movement, an attack system, a user interface, animations, and a 3-hit combo. ToDo, jump attack and improving the enemy AI. There’s still a lot to do, but I’m happy with how it’s turning out so far. Just a reminder—this technical demo uses the TMNT as placeholder characters. 🔁 #gamedev #indiedev #gameboycolor #gameboydev

I think I've burned almost all of my credits testing Dreamina Seedance 2.5 over the past few days. I wanted to push every major feature as far as I could instead of just making another "look what this can do" video. Here's what actually stood out: multi character consistency, timestamp prompting, longer generations and a few other surprisingly useful features. A quick breakdown 👇 Dreamina is ByteDance's AI creation platform (from the same parent company as TikTok), and it's the first place where Dreamina Seedance 2.5 is available globally.

Have decided to try and land a nomination for: "Best New Old School RuneScape Artist" This past year has been incredible for my 3D journey. Feel like I have really found a style I enjoy working with, and have gotten to work on so many fun projects. This is the most impressive and instantly useful #AI demo I’ve seen so far! It is called Google's NotebookLM. I uploaded my entire new book "IRREPLACEABLE" and it transformed it into a podcast, study guide, FAQ, timeline, and an accurate chatbot that references specific parts of the book to support its answers. Don't just take my word for it—listen to the podcast it generated for my book. It’s unbelievable. Seriously, take a listen... And yes, it's a bit unsettling, too! I had to do this of course - test out the new Google Omni Flash model with my favorite 3d art sandbox - Dreams. Just a quick test for now.. I'll be sharing more examples and techniques soon but wanted to show you this one. There's something very fitting about combining "handmade" 3d models and animations sculpted from scratch in software that runs on 2013 hardware, with some of the most advanced AI technology in the world. As part of my work for Google, I've used Google V2V models on a few different projects now - Ancestra, Dear Upstairs Neighbors and most recently one of the IO films (I'll share more about that project soon) 🥰 - and video continues to be my favorite form of input for Generative Ai workflows. If an image says more than a thousand words, a video says more than a million. And knowing that these capabilities are now in the hands of all of you, makes me very excited to see the new workflows and projects that will come out of it. What do you think of Omni so far?

And I think that has totally flipped. Honestly, I think that was wrong... If you're asking the question of like, how do we evaluate people on exactly the thing that AI can already do, that seems kind of the wrong. Our interview process has always been... you can use as much AI as you want to use. We're going to give you a few hours. Just build your whole own product surface. A lot of these are projects that, frankly, is like, if you were trying to do this by hand, you would not be able to get done in a few hours. So you kind of have to use AI for this. But in reality, what we actually want to test is, in addition to how familiar you are with these tools, what we actually want to test is, what do you think is the right thing to build? Or how do you make these product decisions? How do you make these trade-offs? How do you decide or collect information about what you should be doing?"

Gaon says AI can’t fully replace human jobs! 🙂‍↕️ 🐥 I'm curious about one thing. Can AI actually judge an employee's potential as well? So for example, I think emotions are actually a pretty important factor when it comes to working. Because synergy actually starts from small, individual issues, right? And actually, figuring out how to achieve good performance isn’t really something AI can fully judge. 🐥 So, even musically, it's similar. In my "past life" (they're company employees on this show) I actually did music before (plays his performance videos)... 🐥 One thing I’m sure of is that the synergy that comes from human relationships turns out much better than when working with AI. I've experienced that myself. 👤 No matter how precisely a machine lays down a drum beat, it’s different from a person playing it. 🐥 It’s completely different. Honestly, I think AI still lacks something when it comes to deciding who should be laid off. That’s why I’m personally against it.

We asked David Hsu (founder of Retool) about new AI use cases. "The US has invested $1-1.5T into AI, but revenue is only $20-30B. That's a crappy 3% ROI." "My guess is 80% of that revenue is ChatGPT + cloud. But chat is pretty limited, is it going to grow 30x from where we are now?" "Can we figure out some LLM uses cases beyond just chat? What we think is missing is leveraging LLMs to automate labor." "What we're here to really solve is, can we actually allow LLMs to do things in your business (like approving orders or plans). The next frontier for AI is AI that actually does things." "I think we're almost there. That's what we are working on."

Tesla FSD V14.1.2 with Mad Max mode is what I’ve been waiting for. It’s incredibly impressive. Here’s my full highway drive today. I love how it chooses lanes—it’s “aggressive” but still very smooth and safe. It makes smart lane changes, often before I even think to do so. Mad Max will actually save you time getting to your destination. The Tesla AI team is cooking.

My arms are pretty thick, and my shoulders too, what do you think, do I look like someone who works out? If not, oh well. Haha, well, I do work out about four days a week. Lately, my body, even though it might gotten a bit more defined, but this is exactly the body I’m aiming for. I like my body to be leaner and slander side, and I think this is the best-looking lean body I can have while still building muscle and fat. Yeah, so I work out, and everyone can have their own different ideal body, right? But the other guys say, “You’re not actually working out, you just come here to smell the gym and leave.” #JIN
