The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing a $562 million Fixed Price Incentive contract for Lot 1 Low-Rate Initial Production of the MQ-25A Stingray, covering three aircraft and bringing the total under contract to 14. The MQ-25 Stingray is an aerial refueling drone set to replace the F/A-18E Super Hornet in that role within the Carrier Air Wing, freeing up more fighters for operational missions. The Navy plans to procure 76 MQ-25s, with initial deliveries expected in 2029.
