This week as our kids take a deeply flawed STAAR test graded by AI and manipulated by Greg Abbott’s Texas Education Agency Commissioner, let’s remember that upon Greg Abbott’s direction, my amendment to the voucher scam bill to require the same test be given to private school kids who receive vouchers as our kids in public schools take was rejected. As he forces a supersized STAAR test on our kids in public school, Greg Abbott knows that private school parents won’t tolerate the STAAR test. We should not tolerate a governor who wrecks our public schools. It’s time to fire Greg Abbott and end the STAAR test.
