Khalid Yousif of Taqqadum is here saying he’s afraid that the both sides narrative that they have cultivated is collapsing; as according to him it may help one side (the Army) win the war. Taqqadum’s entire political calculation has been to support the RSF politically in the hope that that they can return to Gov on the militia’s coattails. This isn’t a theory it’s already happened with half of Taqqadum having already split off to formally join the RSF’s so called Tasis Gov. However, for Taqqadum members like Khalid Yousif who are from Khartoum and the Centre, they have little interest in a Gov in Darfur they want to return to power in Khartoum.

Just wanted to provide an update. Earlier today, Emilia finished her last chemo cycle and got to ring the bell. She is officially in remission. Her last two MRIs have come back clean. And we’ll now have to do an MRI every six months for the next five years. I’ve never been more proud of anything or anyone in my entire life. Emilia has been extremely strong and resilient, continuing to amaze us day after day. Thank you to everyone who has shown support throughout the last six months. My family and I truly appreciate it. We’re looking forward to moving on to a new chapter.
