Met her when I was in high school. She came down to the border to actually meet the real people who live there. She was as amazing as she sounds.

She was awesome. She one time remarked about George W. Bush--or maybe his old man?--that some of his verbal gaffs weren't his fault because "he was born with a silver foot in his mouth." 😂
