Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk. As a former political prisoner from Iran, I stand with Charlie. I have seen with my own eyes what the lack of free speech does to a country. There is a reason free speech is the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Free speech is the core value of Western civilization. We should not let radical leftists, Islamists, those who advocate for cancel culture, and the fake news media bury the truth. The assassination of Charlie must be condemned unconditionally, and those responsible for this barbaric act must be held accountable. Charlie was a hero.
