This is the pathetic pathetic condition of the flyover at Dahisar east metro station on WEH, Mumbai. The funny part is, it's unclear on which of the 4 agencies is maintaining this. BMC, MMRDA, MSRDC OR MEP (contractor). Looks like it's with the metro because of the ongoing metro line 8 work since years but the MMRDA has not taken any action. माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC MSRDC Ltd MMRDA, MEP Please sit at a table, takeout your documents and fix this flyover. Its causing daily jams, back problems and the frustration of going through this everyday despite being a financial capital of India.

Absolutely fed up. This is Prabhadevi Railway Station — a key hub in Mumbai, surrounded by offices, used by thousands daily. Yet, every monsoon, we’re welcomed by knee-deep water, choked drains, and the stench of neglect. Years of complaints. Zero action. The waterlogging right outside the station remains unresolved — a recurring nightmare. Ministry of Railways blames माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC, BMC blames Railways, and both shrug off responsibility like it’s someone else’s mess. A Daily Gamble With Speeding Traffic. Pedestrians Risk Lives on Nagar Road Crossing Nagar Road has turned into a perilous ordeal for pedestrians. With the traffic department barricading major intersections across the city including the busy stretch near Phoenix Marketcity vehicles are now forced to move ahead and take distant U-turns. But at these U-turn points, the absence of speed breakers, traffic signals, and zebra crossings has created a dangerous situation. Pedestrians attempting to cross are left battling a stream of fast-moving vehicles, each step a risk to life and limb. There are some calls I just cant say NO too: Commercial emergency calls are one of them Call came in at 8am with a major water leak I was on site by 8:15 personally ( I was close) Got the water turned off and mobilized By 9:30 water extractor was on site By noon plumber was on site By 1pm containments and dehumidifiers were going Within 48 hours it will be fixed, be dry and I will have all the damaged fixed This is a commercial office building - 100+ people work in this building. Speed is all that matters I LOVE this work - fires me up Wonder if a robot will replace it?

The mindless, unplanned, chaotic road digging in Mumbai has upended the life of lakhs of residents. The city now resembles an archaeological dig rather than a well planned metropolis. Only 266 road concretisation projects have been completed whereas 930 roads are dug up across the city. This has made daily commute miserable for Mumbaikars. Today, as part of our #NoCorruptionMeriGullyMein citizens' campaign, I visited Road No. 19 and 20 in Khar- a textbook example of the shoddy, unplanned work plaguing Mumbai. Shockingly, the work order for these roads was issued in January 2023, yet work only began in October 2024. Since then, progress has crawled at a snail’s pace. The deadline of May 2025 looms ahead and we will now see hurried, shoddy execution of work. Here is what we observed while walking through all the rubble lying around : 🚧 Roads have been dug up so recklessly that there is no space to walk. Many senior citizens reside here, and schools are nearby, yet no proper provisions have been made for pedestrians. 🚧 Work has been dragging on intermittently for months, with residents frequently facing water and electricity disruptions. 🚧 Some stretches have been half-completed, while the other half remains in a dangerously dug-up state, leaving no room to walk. 🚧 In some parts, one has to get inside the compounds of housing societies to be able to walk ahead, affecting privacy and safety of residents. 🚧 No responsible person was present at the site.The माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC had promised that engineers will be available on road concretisation sites but we didn't find anyone. My questions to the माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC and this anti people government: 🚩 Mumbaikars were promised concretised roads by 2025, but all we are getting is dug up roads and chaos? While contractors have profiteered, Mumbaikars are enduring the pain? Who will be held accountable for these delays and the chaos? 🚩 Why should citizens put up with roads mindlessly dug up all across Mumbai? 🚩 Why is Mumbaikars tax money being wasted by digging, re-digging and patching up newly made roads? 🚩 Why are water and electricity connections being disrupted by contractors frequently without any consequences? The BJP has been ruling in BMC now for almost 30 years, 25 years in alliance with Sena and in control via administrators for the years there were no BMC elections. It now has a majority in BMC. But it has been pretending as if it had no hand in what has gone wrong with the city. Mumbaikars have been facing a tough time these past few days while the city's administration and the Mahayuti government shirk responsibilities. Every road has been filled with water in Mumbai, people have been stranded, water has seeped into houses and roads have caved in. The Mayor and the माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC Commissioner had made tall claims of 100% Nullah Cleaning, the truth of which was exposed in the first rains itself. While the Mayor seemed more interested in making reels of herself, the Commissioner hasn't said anything of note. The BJP has only been mocking the senseless tragedies that have occured in the past few days. Instead online warriors have been unleashed by each of the responsible parties to defend the indefensible. This happens year after year and yes, the BJP is quite responsible for the 25 year mess in the BMC that it pretends wasn't its fault.

This area had become a storage spot for scrap vehicles, creating significant fire and safety hazards. Following thorough inspections with BMC, RTO, and Police officials, strict clearance orders were issued and promptly executed. I have formally proposed to the BMC Commissioner that this site be developed into a garden and open gym, and I raised this issue in yesterday’s Mumbai Suburban DPDC meeting as well. This action reflects our broader commitment to reclaim neglected public spaces and convert them into secure, functional assets for the community. I will maintain close coordination with all departments to ensure the space is preserved and utilized responsibly.

The owners of this church have not been paying for water and electricity. In addition, they’ve built illegal structures on this site despite warnings from the City. The City has approached the High Court for permission to demolish the illegal structures built inside this site. This situation has been building for the past year and a half. The Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) regulations issued by the DGCA were first notified in January 2024 (or March 2024). Airlines had more than enough time to adapt to these guidelines, and we believe they are important. But what was the DGCA doing all this time, given that it was responsible for enforcing the rules and ensuring that airlines complied over the last two years? These are its own guidelines, and it knew that a major airline—practically a monopoly/duopoly in the country—was not prepared.
