Today, we are on #TshwaneYaTima duty. Our first stop was at the Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone in Pretoria East. They owed the city over R 2.7 million. We thank the organisation for the payment made after we had disconnected their electricity. City of Tshwane

Residents of Tshwane, we held a successful Entrepreneurs and Farmers Market at Church Square. All the SMMEs we spoke to said the event was a success and they’ve asked that we host it again. We are grateful for the support shown to emerging entrepreneurs from different sectors. We are determined to avail City assets for the economic benefit of residents. City of Tshwane

Since April 5th, #VPD has been assisting the City of Vancouver to resolve the Hastings Street encampment in the DTES. Together, we are steadily making progress, but recognize there is still work to be done to help return a sense of safety and well-being to the community.

Power update: Switching has commenced at the Olievenhoutbosch Substation. Areas surrounding the sub have been restored, while other areas will be restored gradually. We apologise to residents for the prolonged outage. We thank our teams for working diligently to restore power after a fire broke out at the substation on 24 December. This restoration took place under extreme conditions but we are pleased that services have been completed. City of Tshwane

We took a walk in Sunnyside today to observe the work done by our teams since we launched #ReASpana in November 2024. We’ve done the work, but we still have a long way to go.
