I got there in late 70s ,my dad was Pan Am Bangkok it was his fav place. Then me periods of work early 80s .Phuket especially Patong was just low rise ,gulf workers,Scandinavian ,few Americans.Bangkok tut tut or walk😁Soi cowboy developing .Stayed long term nana hotel.Was fun..

1 &1/2 million people!!! Man that's changed.
