Thailand’s Second Army Region released a compilation video showing combat footage of Thai tanks in battle. Most of the footage features VT-4 main battle tanks. The date shown on the camera is suspected to be incorrectly set.

The Thai military used Chao Tak as a nationalist song, the song is about King Taksin’s army, which liberated the Thai kingdom from Burmese rule. Fun fact: King Taksin’s father was a Teochew Chinese immigrant from China, while his mother was Thai.

Battle of Leipzig: Sherman Tanks in Urban Combat (1945) 🇺🇸🇩🇪 Restored footage shows U.S. Army forces spearheaded by M4 Sherman tanks fighting through the streets of Leipzig in April 1945 as they cleared the city's remaining German strongpoints. Using Sherman tanks as mobile cover, American infantry battled entrenched German positions while Sherman crews unleashed heavy machine gun and main cannon fire against fortified buildings. Part of the final Allied drive into the heart of Germany during the closing weeks of the Second World War.
