GSTs money collection at centre is too less than actual collection by the business houses.

NH65 from TG till MH Border is absolutely pothole free. Once you hit MH, its pathetic. Even I found Pune Interior roads to be hell to drive on.

A 2 BHK apartment in this area costs over a crore, yet the road infrastructure here is worse than ever. In a city like Bangalore, where people pay premium prices for homes and heavy taxes, residents are still forced to deal with broken, pothole-ridden, tar-free roads and garbage-filled streets in areas like Gunjur and Mugalur. People invest their life savings to buy homes here, expecting at least basic civic amenities such as proper roads, drainage systems, streetlights, and waste management. Instead, they get dust during summer, mud during rain, traffic chaos every day, and piles of garbage rotting on the roadside. This is not development, this is pure negligence. The biggest question every resident is asking is where is the tax money going? Citizens are paying property tax, road tax, GST, maintenance charges, and fuel tax, yet the ground reality looks abandoned. Builders sell luxury dreams, but once people move in, they are welcomed by third-class infrastructure. It is shameful that some of the fastest-growing areas of Bangalore are being ignored while authorities continue making promises. If people are paying crore-level prices for apartments, they deserve world-class infrastructure, not roads that look worse than village paths and streets that resemble dumping yards.Enough excuses. Residents need accountability, proper planning, and immediate action. Because right now, in Gunjur and Mugalur, people are paying metropolitan prices but living with broken civic standards. #bangalore #bengaluru #gunjur #development DK Shivakumar Siddaramaiah INTEGRATED COMMAND AND CONTROL CENTRE S. Bengaluru's Biggest Monsoon Tradition: Flooded Roads and Empty Promises This is Bengaluru. Looking at these visuals, one would think it is a swimming pool, not one of the city's major roads. The irony is that despite endless claims of development, smart infrastructure, and rapid urban growth, the same roads turn into waterlogged stretches every single time it rains. Just look at the water level. Vehicles are struggling to move, commuters are stranded, and residents are forced to wade through flooded roads. This is not an isolated incident or a one-time problem. It has become a recurring story across Bengaluru whenever there is moderate or heavy rainfall. The bigger question is: where are taxpayers' hard-earned money and infrastructure funds going? Citizens pay road tax, property tax, and numerous other charges with the expectation of basic civic amenities. Yet year after year, the city continues to witness the same drainage failures, poor road planning, and lack of accountability.Authorities issue promises after every monsoon, conduct inspections, and announce new projects, but the ground reality remains unchanged. If Bengaluru is truly India's technology capital, why are its residents still battling flooded roads every rainy season? Development cannot be measured by announcements and advertisements alone it must be reflected in the quality of infrastructure that citizens use every day.Until authorities fix the root causes of poor drainage, unplanned construction, and inadequate road infrastructure, Bengaluru's roads will continue to resemble swimming pools rather than the modern urban network that residents deserve. Karnataka State Police S. After the infamous delay and abandonment of the Ejipura flyover, this seems set to become yet another glaring example of mismanagement and negligence by the authorities in Karnataka. Why were these pillars constructed in the first place if the project was not going to be completed on time? Such half-finished infrastructure not only wastes public money but also creates inconvenience, traffic chaos, and safety risks for citizens. It raises serious questions about planning, accountability, and the misuse of taxpayer funds. Projects are announced with great enthusiasm, budgets are sanctioned, and construction begins but somewhere along the way, everything comes to a standstill. Is it due to corruption, lack of coordination, or sheer administrative failure? The public deserves answers. These incomplete structures stand as silent reminders of broken promises and poor governance. If strict action is not taken against those responsible, such failures will continue to repeat, ultimately eroding public trust in the system. Karnataka State Police S. No matter whether the Chief Minister changes or not, the condition of Bengaluru's roads seems to remain the same. Just look at the state of this road. Thousands of citizens use this stretch every day for their daily commute, yet it has been reduced to what looks more like an off-road track than a city road. The entire stretch is filled with craters, broken surfaces, loose gravel, and missing tar. Driving here is not only uncomfortable but also dangerous for motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians alike. During rains, these potholes become even more hazardous, increasing the risk of accidents and vehicle damage. Citizens continue to pay taxes, road tax, fuel tax, and various other levies with the expectation of receiving basic infrastructure and safe roads. But looking at conditions like these, one question naturally arises: Where is the taxpayers' money going? Bengaluru deserves better. Safe and well-maintained roads are not a luxury they are a basic necessity for every citizen. Karnataka State Police S. National Day of Presence January 12, 2026 A Video Message to Nigerians This is not a protest. This is not a rally. This is a presence. On January 12, Nigerians across the country will step out peacefully, silently, and lawfully with one demand only. The Tax Act 2025 must be cancelled. There are no organizers. There are no leaders. There are no negotiations. This is not about political parties, unions, or movements. It is about citizens showing up where they already live. Before any government asks for more money, Nigerians are asking a simple question. What has already been done with what was taken. Taxes have been collected. Loans have been taken in the name of the people. Those loans are being repaid by citizens. They have financed politics, not development. Daily life continues to deteriorate. No stable electricity. No clean water. No functional healthcare. Unsafe roads. Insecurity everywhere. This new law goes further by allowing money to be taken first from your bank account and explanations to come later. That is not due process. That is not consent. If the state can debit your account on accusation or error, then you do not truly own your money. The National Day of Presence has one demand. The Tax Act 2025 must be cancelled. No violence. No speeches. No list of demands. January 12 is not optional. Silence today becomes compliance tomorrow. Show up where you live (See Flyer for Location in Your State) Stand quietly. Be counted. Do not come alone. God bless Nigeria.
